When scheduling a session at Hayah Beauty, you agree to the following policies and terms of service:
Scheduling Online
For any beauty session scheduled online, you are required to pre-pay the full amount to reserve that slot. If you need to cancel or reschedule your pre-paid appointment, we require a 48-hour notice, otherwise, the payment is non-refundable. Please see our policies for Canceled and Rescheduled beauty sessions below.
Canceled Sessions
We require a 48-hour notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If notice is received once the 48-hour window has passed, we require that you pay a cancellation fee of $50 which is due before you can schedule another beauty session (appointment) at Hayah Beauty. This cancellation fee is a stand-alone inconvenience charge that will not be deducted from your total cost of service.
Rescheduled Sessions
The same cancellation fee and 48-hour notice as mentioned above applies to rescheduled beauty sessions.
Late Arrival
If you arrive after 30 minutes, your beauty session will be canceled and an inconvenience fee of $50 will be added to your account and must be paid before you can schedule another Beauty Session. This is a stand-alone inconvenience charge that will not be deducted from your total cost of service.
No Show
If you fail to arrive for your beauty session, an inconvenience fee of $50 must be paid in order to reschedule another beauty session. You must also pre-pay for your entire cost of services.
Check-In Upon Arrival
We now require that all guests stop at the front desk upon arrival to be checked into the system. The Guest Services and Retail Manager will then escort and announce you to your style host and studio guests. This must be done before every beauty session without exception.
Standing Appointments
If you have a weekly standing beauty session that you miss, you must pay the full cost of services for your next session. Your discount will be reapplied if and when you get back to your regular weekly schedule.
Addressing Issues
We love what we do and are committed to providing excellent service to ensure your satisfaction. We want you to look and feel beautiful! Therefore, if for any reason you are unsatisfied with your style, we ask that you politely direct your concern to our Guest Services & Retail Manager. We prefer to resolve any issue at the time of your visit, so speak up and we’ll take care of it! If you have a concern once you leave, again, please let us know and we’ll be happy to resolve it!
For any concerns that may warrant a complimentary beauty session, we require you to inform us of that concern within one week of your original session. We will not assume responsibility for any issue that may arise thereafter.
Issues Beyond Our Control
We are not responsible for any problems with your style that result from natural causes like weather, or self-imposed damage like vigorous exercise or physical activity, excessively picking and/or playing with the style, improper maintenance or care, swimming, or if your style gets wet in the shower, etc.
We are also not responsible if a friend, family member, co-worker, etc. simply do not like your hair.
Personal Device Volume
To ensure a pleasurable experience for all guests and style hosts, we require that you use ear-buds to listen to any audio from personal devices. Absolutely no speaker allowed.
Emergency Information
We recently had an emergency at the salon during which we had to call 911. In such cases, we must be able to give the paramedics your information for proper care. At your next beauty session, we will ask for your emergency contact, your birthdate (yes, including the year!), known allergies and sensitivities, and any other medical information that may be important for us to know (diabetic, asthmatic, etc.). Please know that your information is safe and confidential. These are precautionary measures that we must take in case of an emergency.
Early Check-Out
The salon front office closes for lunch from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and closes for the day at 5 p.m. Any beauty session scheduled at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. must check out (pay for services, products, and reschedule) before the front desk closes. You may wish to leave a card on file for convenience and check out prior to or upon arrival.
Longevity of Style
We do not guarantee that your style will last for any specific duration of time. We simply share with you with the average length of time a particular style may last based on the experience of other guests.
Service Release Forms
For all hair coloring, straightening, and weave/extension services, you will be asked to sign a waiver prior to services rendered.
No Food, Children, or Profanity
We enforce a no food, no children under 18, and no profanity policy.
